The Tennessee Secondary Schools Band Directors Association began when a group of directors in East Tennessee saw a need for festivals and clinic which would better meet the needs of students in small schools or new, growing band programs. TSSBDA directors firmly believe that building strong band programs builds self confident students and strong communities.
Membership is open to any band director in Tennessee with young or growing programs and experienced directors willing to be mentors to these bands and directors.
