SOLO AND ENSEMBLE
Scott County Solo & Ensemble will be on March 5th, 2026 at Scott High School in Huntsville, TN Registration for all entries should be completed by February 25. School fee for 2026 is $10 and the student fee is $3 per student per performance. Students are limited to two performances each. Video submissions will not be accepted this year.

Composition Contest
Compositions for the 2026 contest can be submitted electronically or presented in-person at the Solo & Ensemble Festival on March 5th, 2026 at Scott High School in Huntsville, TN. Registration fee for this event is $3.00 per submission. Registration should be completed by February 25. If you are submitting electronically, you will be sent a Dropbox link to upload your files. Students should write a minimum of 16 measures of instrumental music (no vocal pieces accepted). Performance of the piece is encouraged but not required. Pieces can be computer notated or neatly handwritten. Traditional notation is required for the piece to be judged. Students are limited to one composition entry each. Pieces that meet the contest requirements will be awarded a medal or medal with distinction. A Judge's Choice medal will be awarded to one composition.
